A focused update for a single room that isn't working. New layout, updated textiles, paint guidance, and styling — without gutting the space. Ideal for rooms that feel dated or disconnected from the rest of the house.
Staging for Sale
Preparing a home to show its best self to buyers. I understand what photographs well (Adobe creator workflow background), what draws the eye in listing photos, and how to make a space feel larger, brighter, and more intentional.
Full Design Consultation
End-to-end design for a room or entire home. This includes space planning, color palette development, furniture selection, lighting, textiles, and final styling. I work with your existing pieces where they serve the vision and source new ones where they don't.
Approach
I design spaces that feel lived-in on day one — not showrooms that fall apart the moment you set down a coffee cup. The Hagerman renovation follows a few principles that carry into all my work:
- Function before aesthetics — a beautiful room that doesn't work is a failure
- Respect what's already there — inherited pieces and existing architecture have stories worth keeping
- Photography-aware design — I think about how spaces look through a lens, because that's how most people will first see your home
- Budget-conscious sourcing — not every piece needs to be new, and some of the best finds come from unexpected places
